We appreciate your interest in Designs In Tile. We have served the restoration and new construction community since 1978. Our popularity and the fact that we refuse to compromise the quality of the work that we produce forces us to adapt some of our business practices.

Our production schedule is completely booked until 2008. We are no longer accepting jobs on a wait list.

We will not be providing takedowns, custom designs (new commissioned tile art or layout of tile installations) or custom glaze matching until further notice.

We are only selling overage from other current and prior jobs at this time.

NEW ORDERS/OVERRUNS

We are now offering Overruns/Closeouts, and Odd Lots/Small Lots from material on hand. Some handpainted decoratives tiles and murals will also be posted when available.

We will be accepting orders for overruns of plain, undecorated field tile (3x6, 6x6, 4-1/4 and trim as available). Our tile is square-edged, true-sized, 3" x 6"x 5/16" "subway" tile, as well as 2" x 6", 6" x 6" and 4-1/4" x 4-1/4". Our most popular color, "Historic White", matches old tiles that have been sent to us. It is a translucent glaze, off-white/creamy in color.

Orders will be filled on a first come/first served basis, based on email/snail mail postmark. There is no guarantee that there will be availability at the time you desire.

Sample tiles may be ordered via snail mail, and must be paid by check, cash or money order (no credit cards). Sample requests for plain tile and trim must be prepaid and covers only our costs for postage and handling. All samples are sent via Priority Mail. (To avoid disappointment, please email the Studio to see if we are out on project supervisions and if there might be delays in getting your samples and/or job to you.)

Two (3x6) tiles $7.75; Three (3x6) tiles $11.00
Samples of individual decorative tiles must be purchased plus shipping charges. Call for pricing.

Lead time for filling orders of plain tile and trim is currently 4-6 weeks. (To avoid disappointment, please email the Studio to see if we are out on project supervisions and if there might be delays in getting your samples and/or job to you.) Each order is quoted on a per job basis. Discounts are based on quantity.

All orders must be prepaid; plus applicable sales tax (CA only) and freight/shipping (quoted on order basis)
Field tile is sold in 10 sq ft increments.
Minimum orders are 50 sq ft for field tile or quantities as stated.
